Hello, I'm Craig Kunkel. Welcome to my portfolio. I currently serve as a Sustainment Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where I contribute to the Apache Fire Control program within the Missiles and Fire Control division. My role involves data analysis and modeling to assess current and future repair trends.
I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2022 with a B.A. in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
My career interests and aspirations revolve around working with data and honing my skills to better evaluate and communicate information. During my tenure at Lockheed Martin, I had the opportunity to utilize Tableau, a front-end developer tool, to create a functional Tableau Dashboard. This allowed users to quickly assess key performance metrics and make informed program decisions based on accurate data. This experience ignited my passion for further developing these skills.
Currently, through this portfolio, I am expanding my knowledge of back-end tools and procedures, while showcasing freelance projects and blog posts about my ongoing work.
I currently reside in Orlando, Florida, but I am open to relocating if the right opportunity arises.
I am an avid runner and enjoy participating in races. The picture above is from the 2024 Myrtle Beach Marathon in March, and my most recent race was the 2024 Orlando UC Half Marathon in December. I aspire to continue competing in 2025 and aim to run the Columbus Marathon in the fall. When I'm not running, I stay active by going to the gym or playing in an adult co-ed kickball league in Orlando. I also enjoy learning and working on the projects featured on this website, as well as developing new skills. Additionally, I love to travel and visit close friends and family in different parts of the country.
